PURPOSE
The Bots Overview page is where you create, view, and author all bots in your Emplifi Bot account. This article explains how to create a new bot and where to go next for authoring its conversation flows, configuring its settings, and setting up the intents that power its understanding of customer requests.
BOTS OVERVIEW PAGE
The Bots Overview page displays all bots in your account as individual panels, each showing the bot's name and status. From here you can create new bots, open existing bots for authoring, and access bot-level configuration.
Access: From the Application Bar, click Bots (or navigate to the Overview section of the Bot module).
STEPS — CREATE A NEW BOT
- On the Bots Overview page, click the + Create bot button in the top-right corner.
- In the text field that appears, enter a name for your bot. Tip: Use a name that reflects the bot's purpose or deployment channel (e.g., "Website Chat Bot", "Facebook Messenger Bot").
- Click Create Bot.
- A new bot panel is added to the Overview page with the name you entered.
- Click the name of your new bot on the Overview page.
- The bot authoring page opens.

STEPS — ANALYZE A BOT'S PERFORMANCE IN UNIFIED ANALYTICS
From the Bots Overview page, you can jump directly into a pre-filtered analytics view for any individual bot:
- On the Bots Overview page, locate the bot you want to analyze.
- Click the Analyze button on that bot's panel.
Unified Analytics opens with the Bot Performance board pre-filtered to that bot's data.
